Conditions
Regular Season Travel:
Deposit: A deposit of $100 is required by Your
Maine Tour within 7 days from booking to hold your reservations. A booking
may be cancelled by Your Maine Tour if deposit is not received.
Final Payment: Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure.
Reservations are subject to cancellation by Your Maine Tour unless
final payment is received 45 days or more prior to departure. Full payment is
due immediately for bookings made within 45 days of departure.
Prices: Prices are subject to change without notice unless paid in
full or Change and Cancellation Waiver has been purchased. All bookings are
price protected upon receipt of Change and Cancellation Waiver or when full
payment is received on the entire booking prior to any price changes.
Forms of Payment: Payment may be made in cash, by travelers check
or by Discover, American Express, Master Card and Visa credit cards. Forms of
payment vary by vendor. All returned checks are subject to a $35 service
charge.
Last Minute Reservations: Your Maine Tour accepts last
minute reservations provided space is available, full payment has been received
and documents can be delivered prior to departure. Additional fees (of $15) for
overnight delivery of documents will be charged unless payment is received more
than 10 days prior to departure.
Documents: Documents will be released upon receipt of full payment
and will be mailed at least 14 days prior to departure. Documents may be
requested earlier if full payment has been received by Your Maine Tour
, however, boarding passes may not be available for early document
requests. Airline tickets and boarding passes are issued with documents in
accordance with air carrier policies.
Change Fees: After receipt of deposit, a handling fee of $10 per
person will be assessed for passenger initiated changes. For changes made after
documents are issued $25 per booking will be charged and special delivery fees
may apply. Some hotels and condominiums charge fees for changes made prior to
departure or during holiday seasons. These charges are in addition to the fees
stated above Additional change fees and restriction are governed by airline
tariffs and vary widely. In some instances, changes to the air itinerary are
not permitted. Change fees may apply and become additional changes to those
stated herein.
Cancellations: After receipt of deposit there is a $25 per
passenger charge for cancellations Airlines may assess cancellation fees on
specialty priced air fares in addition to those fees stated above stated herein.
"No Shows" are non-refundable. Also, cancellations charges assessed
by each property or vendor may apply. Cancellations received after documents
are issued or less than 45 days prior to departure are subject to a $50 per
passenger charge.
Refunds: Refunds for unused hotels, airline tickets, tours, cars
and transfers are subject to a $25 processing fee plus such cancelation fees as
shall be assessed by hotels, airlines or tour companies. In order to be
considered, refund request for changes made after departure must be handled
through our Customer Service Department and must be submitted in writing with
the appropriate tour documents within 10 days of your return date.
Change/Cancellation Waiver: For a $30 fee per adult (children 17
years are free) you may change or cancel any part of your booking without paying
the normally assessed change and/or cancellation charges. The waiver also
covers tours and activities purchased from Your Maine Tour prior to
departure provided cancellations are received at least 24 hours prior to
scheduled use. Waiver purchases for holiday travel is $70 per adult. The
waiver must be purchased at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The
waiver excludes the following discounted and/or non-refundable air fares
resulting from a passenger initiated change in date, time, routing, or class of
service, lost or stolen tickets; changes in occupancy for shared accommodations;
and no shows. The Change and Cancellation Waiver shouldn't be confused or
substituted for Travel Insurance, which covers, for the most part, different
risks.
Holiday Terms: Various hotels and condominiums have special
cancellation, change, minimum stay and refund policies for stays during certain
holidays. These policies are in addition to those stated in these Terms and
Conditions and are not covered by the Change and Cancellation Waiver.
Minimum Stay: The length of stay required varies by property and
by season. Contact Your Maine Tour for details.
Air Transportation: All airlines tickets are purchased and issued
on a roundtrip basis. Changes to flight intineraries may result in an increased
air fare, a carrier imposed charge, or in some instances may not be permitted.
Your Maine Tour passengers are subject to all airline limitations,
liabilities and tariffs. This brochure does not reflect special low-cost air
fares available to Your Maine Tour passengers booking land components.
Additional cancellation fees are assessed by the airlines on special air fares.
All air carriers booked by Your Maine Tour shall be liable only as
common carries to Your Maine Tour passengers.
Not Included: Except where otherwise noted prices do not include
porterage, customs, gratuities or meals. Telephone calls or any other items of
a personal nature are not included in any travel package.
Physical Disabilities: Any physical disability requiring special
attention, treatment or facility must be advised to Your Maine Tour
when the reservation is made.
Bedding/Minimum Occupancy: Your Maine Tourwill request
the bedding desired as directed by the travel consultant. Bedding varies by
property and room category. Specific requests must be made at the time of
booking. At some hotels and condominiums their may be an additional charge if a
crib or rollaway is purchased, payable to the property upon check-out.
Your Maine Tour Responsibility: Your Maine Tour is an
independent contractor that arranges travel-related services for individual tour
and group travel. Your Maine Tour is not an agent of the customer,
nor of those providing travel-related services, and does not in any manner
directly provide accommodations, transportation, meals or their travel-related
services.
Your Maine Tour shall not be liable for personal injury or property
damage resulting from acts, omissions or negligence of any person providing
accommodations, transportation, meals or other travel-related services, nor for
any delayed departure, missed carrier connections, substitutions or
accommodations or of common carrier equipment, termination of service, change in
fares and rates or for cancellation or double booking of reservations of tickets
beyond its control and without notice. Your Maine Tour reserves the
right to alter the printed itinerary or schedule or any tour or trip as may be
necessary with or without notice and shall not be liable for any inconvenience
or expense occasioned by such changes. Your Maine Tour reserves the
right to decline to accept or retain persons as a member of these tours or
otherwise to refuse service to anyone at any time and for any reason whatsoever.
Air carriers are responsible only for the air transportation provided in
connection with these tours, and such transportation is provided under the terms
and conditions of the contract of carriage set forth on the passenger ticket of
such carriers.
Travel Insurance: Your Maine Tour strongly recommends
the purchase of travel insurance and encloses details with all travel documents.
