FEES INCLUDE:
Up-to-date equipment and trailfood; instruction in High Adventure
skills. Numerous program opportunities and environmental interpretation.
A well-trained BSA High Adventure guide for the entire stay; and 350
miles van transportation to/from put-in and pull-out locations.
OTHER POSSIBLE COSTS:
Campsite fees for state-controlled areas such as: AWW, BSP, PRC.
Extra ground transportation - over 350 miles.
Lost or damaged equipment.
Allagash Waterway, Baxter Park.
Float plane or special program options.
FREE LEADER POLICY:
Each crew with at least 10 paid participants is entitled to
one free leader.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
EACH CREW MEMBER MUST BE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OF AGE BY
JANUARY 1, OF THE YEAR OF PARTICIPATION.
Minimum crew size is 6 people. Maximum crew size is 11 people.
Minimum length of attendance is 6 days - 8 to 10 days is recommended.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE DEADLINES ARE FIRM:
1. $250 per crew reservation, fee NON-REFUNDABLE. Applies toward
total fee. Reservations taken on a first come - first served
basis. Telephone reservations will be held for 10 days pending
receipt of the crew reservation fee. Dates and attendance are
confirmed upon receipt of reservation fee. Call (207) 259-4408
2. A one-half fee balance (after deposit) is due March 1st. Crews
registering after March 1st should send first payment within 30
days. Guidebooks, medical forms and travel information are
forwarded upon receipt of this payment.
3. Final payment is due upon arrival at the base.
4. Reservations are limited to 60 crews.
5. Cost per person: $44.00 per day.
