Moose Safaris
Spring-Summer-Fall
Come join me in the beautiful Moosehead Lake area as we search for the monarch of the woods, the Maine moose. We'll paddle quietly towards them as they feed in their natural habitat, in a 18 1/2 foot wooden Maine Guide canoe. Deer, ducks, loons and blue heron are often spotted along the way. Moose is a native-American word meaning eater of wood. A boxed lunch or breakfast with homemade bread and drinks are included with the trip. |
|
My moose safari has been featured on the CBS Sunday Morning Show's Postcards from Maine with humorist Tim Sample. Moose Country Dog Sled Trips are perfect gifts for Christmas, birthdays or anniversaries. |

Fly Fishing
Experience some of the best fishing there is to be had, here, and in the Moosehead Lake area. The beautiful mountain brook trout you catch, can be cooked along the banks of the stream, over an open fire, by your friendly and experienced guide. |

Dogsled Ice Fishing Expeditions
Anglers of the ice, a great experience awaits. Let's be in
hot pursuit of lake, brook, and brown trout, salmon, bass, and
perch in the Moosehead Lake region. We can travel to my heated
ice houses by dogteam. I have 2 ten foot toboggan sleds and can
take up to 3 to 4 anglers. Bait, traps, power ice auger, hot food
and drink all included. Available January though March. Please
dress warm and bring your fishing license. Half day and full day
trips available.

Dogsled Campouts
Come join me in the woods of Maine as spring returns for a celebration of the Great Outdoors. Warmer temperatures and longer days make for a comfortable day as we mush through the woods with my howling canine caravan and campout in an alaskan wall tent equipped with woodstove. Warm meals and drinks included. Please bring warm long underwear and winter sleeping bag. |

Sled Dog Seminars
Come learn about the exciting world of dogsledding as I talk about the commands I use, different sleds, dog care, maintenance, nutrition and a home video. These seminars are the same that I teach at sportsmen shows and adult ed. |
