Penobscot Theatre Company welcomes gifts of stock

Gifts of long-term appreciated securities have two advantages. Donors receive an income tax deduction equal to the fair market value of the securities, and avoid capital gains taxes on the transfer. Consult your personal financial advisor for more information. To make a gift of appreciated securities to support the Penobscot Theatre Company or Maine Shakespeare Festival you may direct your broker to electronically transfer your stock to the Penobscot Theatre Company, care of A.G. Edwards office in Bangor, Maine (207) 947-5456 or (800) 947-5456. PTC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Sponsor Benefits 1999 - 2000 Season

As a sponsor of Penobscot Theatre Company's 25th season, your company would be promoted heavily during the entire seven play schedule.

Your logo featured in:  

  • Full page ad and title page listing in all season programs  
  • Print ads in the Bangor Daily News promoting each production   
  • PTC web site (1,000 visits/week)  
  • Posters for each new play      
  • Lobby sponsor board for entire season (October - May)   

Additional sponsor promotion:

  • Your name included in all press releases for each play   
  • More than 100 sponsor announcements during all pre-performance curtain speeches  
  • Your company spokesperson will be invited to welcome the theatre audience before the opening night performance

As a production underwriter during Penobscot Theatre Company's 25th season, your company would receive valuable promotion during the entire schedule of the production you choose to underwrite. Select one of seven productions during the celebration of our 25th season.

  • One-half page ad in our season program   (Seven productions /100+ performances)

  • PTC web site (1,000 visits/week)
