Visionary Council

With the increased emphasis on private support, the Board of Directors created the Visionary Council of Penobscot Theatre Company. The council is charged with guiding and supporting the development efforts of the theatre in annual fund raising, special events, and capital or endowment campaigns.

According to director of development Alicia Nichols, "The members of the council assist with a broad array of development areas, from soliciting major gifts, to making corporate contacts for sponsorships, and helping introduce new friends to our productions. We'll fit the tasks to each member, so everyone on the council will excel in their area of expertise. The formation of the Visionary Council on the eve of our 25th season celebration will secure the future for our next 25 seasons, and beyond. We're grateful for their enthusiasm!"
