A newly renovated lakefront home overlooks peaceful Sabbathday Lake. The three-bedroom, year-round home has a modern, fully-equipped eat-in kitchen, living room, and bath. A large recreation room opens onto a sunny lawn with a quaint gazebo next to a private beach. Clean spacious rooms are completely furnished for up to 5 people. Towels, linens, kitchen ware, full oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, baking needs, blender, TV/VCR, phone. Gas grill on deck outside kitchen. Dock and canoe.

  • 2001 rates: $975/wk. July, August through September 8th (Saturday to Saturday)
  • $875/wk. June, September, October
  • $575/wk. November 1 through May 19
  • Monthly rates negotiable; please inquire.
 
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
A $600 deposit confirms your reservation when received within 10 days of booking. Cancellation fee is $100 per week on confirmed reservations. Remainder due 2 weeks before arrival date. Cancel 14 days prior to receive refund of deposit, minus cancellation fee. Cash, Master Card, Visa, or cashier’s check. Allow 10 days to clear checks. References required. Sorry, no pets; smoking not permitted. Property is warranted to be smoke-free. Check in between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Check out by 10:00 am.

Directions to 429 Shaker Road, New Gloucester, Maine From Portland:
Maine Turnpike, Exit 11, Gray. Distance to the Sabbathday Lake property is 7 miles. Turn right after toll booth. At the next intersection, Gray Center, turn hard left onto Rt. 26. Pass through Gray and into New Gloucester. Once you see Sabbathday Lake beach to the right of your route, slow down and travel to the top of the next incline--on your right is #429. A blue spruce tree marks the entrance to a cream-colored house.
