.......Springtime is for the fisherman and Crescent Lake Cottages is centrally located among dozens of area lakes and ponds abundant with a variety of fish. In fact, each Fishing off our Dockspring Crescent Lake host bass tournaments as our sections of rocky shore and bottom are a natural breeding ground for hungry fish. During the spring and fall bass are consistently caught in the 4-6 lb. range with some 8-9 lb. largemouths taken every year. Other popular species in crescent Lake include salmon and the colorful brook trout. A boat launch adjacent our private beach allows easy lake access.

.......The Tenny River, connecting Crescent Lake with Panther Pond, is a fisherman's haven on days to windy to "work" the local lakes and ponds. With forested shoreline along both banks the Tenny River stays calm enough for fishing most any day....and is a fly-fisherman's paradise! panther Pond offers another shoreline of rocks, trees and occasional sandy spots. A 67 foot drop in panther Pond might be a wise spot for the summer angler to drop a line! For those who enjoy a wicked awesome fighting fish we've access to a rather isolated nearby pickerel pond - bring a net! Kids can have an adventurous funfilled day filling a string of brookies from the area's many brooks and streams or by visiting the nearby trout hatchery. Sebago Lake, world famous for its generous lake trout and salmon population provides a free public boat launch only eight miles from our resort.

.......Our new dock accommodates seaplanes and is easily accessible for landings and departures. Fishing guides may be arranged thru our resort. Those wishing to purchase a Maine fishing license may do so at the Raymond Town Hall just one mile away. There are no fees for launching or docking your bat. Fishing season is April 15 thru Nov 1. upon request, a Maine State Fishing Regulations Booklet and local Area Lake & Pond Map will be sent to you.
