Pleasant Mountain Inn is owned and run by the Roby family. In
1996 we purchased the Laurel Lee Restaurant and Motel. The Laurel
Lee had been a familiar family-stopping place for many years.
When we took over we redid everything! The restaurant! The lounge!
The motel! Modern bathrooms ... Tasteful decor ... Large windows
overlook the pond. It is not unusual to see ducks and geese while
enjoying dinner. Moose and deer are also part of our habitat.
Former guests who stop in can't believe the difference. The atmosphere is country ... homey and relaxing with just a touch of sophistication.
In the winter of 1998, we acquired the house behind the Inn.
This has become The Lodge with 7 attractive, comfortable accommodations
and decks that overlook the pond.
Old-fashioned hospitality is the benchmark of the Roby family and Pleasant Mountain Inn.
