The Colonial Winterport Inn or the Frankfort Commercial House, as it was originally called, was completed in March, 1834. Located on the beautiful Penobscot River, the picturesque Village of Winterport, and nearby areas offer a variety of activities.
Duncan & Judie Macnab moved from Ottawa, Ontario and restored the Inn in 1990. The seven guest rooms, each with private bath, are furnished with Victorian antiques, cozy floral comforters and coordinating curtains. We are featured in America's Wonderful Little Hotels & Inns.
